About Me

Hi! My name is Roslyn Nelson and I am a crafter and I love admiring beautiful wearable art pieces. I am also into digital photography.

Seriously speaking, discovering myself as a crafter is the last thing that came into my mind. All started when I was in depressed with the news I received from my orthopedic doctor of the condition of my osteoarthritis on both of my knees.

With the hardcore movement and also energy required in catching the best possible photographs for my clients ( I was once a freelance wedding & event photographer ), I would make a visit to the orthopedic specialist. It came to the point where my orthopedic specialist telling me to make a choice to my knees.

With a heavy heart, I make the decision to stop taking up challenging assignments. With God's grace and mercy upon me, I was 're-introduced' to the beautiful world of art and craft. Art has always been something that I am passionate about as a small child. My late mother used to buy me those beautiful colouring books for me to colour.

Crafts, on the other hand is something I know I am able to do. But, it hardly came to me to move further. However, crafting does ease the broken heart of mine ( photography ).

While helping out my beloved friend, Hazel to source for exotic beads and findings, I ended up buying  beading kit for myself. And the rest as they say is history. That was nearly a year ago.

With the great amount of encouragement and also advice ( not to mention the amount of time and yes, lots of LOVE  ) which my dear friend, Hazel has given me, I work on perfecting my skills. Both of us work along side by side and we came up with a little blog store to sell our little crafts. You can view all our stuffs here at My B&C Closet.

I am still learning and I believe I will have more to learn and will never ever stop learning! And the thoughts of creating beautiful and wearable accessories does make my life more beautiful than ever!

I still snapping my camera away at times as a hobby. And my beloved cameras are still in good use for all the photos I took for all my creations. YAY!

Lastly, keep on creating!
